There’s definitely something about Newcastle these days. Something in the air, a buzz, a change – I’m not sure if it’s the cranes in the CBD or the constant influx of new businesses, cafes or ever evolving art-scene. All I know is that Newcastle is thriving.
We here at First National Newcastle City have benefitted from activity in the residential property market, because as businesses thrive so do residential sales. Newcastle is becoming an increasingly appealing option for investors and those looking to relocate from Sydney.
It is therefore such a great honour to be nominated as finalist for the prestigious Real Estate Institute of NSW (REINSW) for the second year in a row. This year the nomination is even sweeter – as I am the only residential sales agent to be nominated outside of the Sydney region!
Newcastle is my home and to be in the league with Sydney agents makes me both humbled and incredibly proud – proud as a professional but also proud as a Novocastrian.
I would not have been nominated without the support of my community, family and team at First National Newcastle City. I truly believe I have the best customers a real estate agent could wish for. They trust me with what is often their most valuable asset and at a time in their lives that can be both exciting and life changing.
The love I feel for this town and for our community is reflected in the people around me, there is a real pride of place among people in Newcastle. And it makes my job relatively easy. Relatively that is, there is an art to real estate. No doubt about that!
So, it is with great pleasure I am accepting the nomination as finalist for residential sales agent of the year. To be nominated alongside agents I admire such as D’Leanne Lewis and Nick Separovich is such a great honour but at the end of the day, it’s such a kick to be recognised for what I just do every day. Making sure our customers get the best outcomes and enjoy the process with us at First National Newcastle is always my priority. I’ll keep you posted on the outcome!
